So the last time I really posted on here was an entire year ago. Sad I know. A lot has happened this past year and I am excited to share it with you all. Also, I recently purchased a new Macbook Pro, which will make blogging so much easier. Uploading photos onto my iPad was such a pain.
I'm hoping to get a few blog posts up before it becomes 2017!

Lake Merritt
I'm back! Well I don't have any recent photos to post on this blog. However, I do have a few posts that I forgot to post last year, so I felt that I should include them even though I no longer have the bright orange hair.
One Saturday afternoon, P and I decided to drive up to Lake Merritt in Oakland to enjoy the nice warm weather. For those of you non-Bay Areans, there are so many beautiful hang out spots around the bay, that aren't just located in San Francisco. Maybe I'll start a series titled "Hidden Gems of the Bay Area." I would also love any suggestions so that I can explore more of what California has to offer.
Generally on our outings, I have to stop by for some ice cream. I went for the salted caramel ice cream and was quite smitten. The entire process of making the ice cream is quite intriguing, as they utilize liquid nitrogen to make the delicious dessert.

MIA
I've definitely neglected this blog, but I wanted to let everyone know that I am still alive!
I have quite a few blog posts waiting in the queue ranging from Christmas gift ideas to my proposal story. Yup, I'm engaged!
I'm hoping to get back on a routine posting schedule. I also forgot to mention that my baby blog has now turned 1. I'll also be posting my venture through wedding planning, so be sure to follow along.

Disclosure and The Weeknd created such a flawless song. The beat just keeps me on my toes and my head bobbin.

Mansur Gavriel
Mansur Gavriel- Mansur Gavriel Mini Bucket Bag
I would like to share the story of how I ended up with this purse. I first discovered Mansur Gavriel early 2014. I was fascinated by the bucket bag, but ended up purchasing a Baggu bucket bag for a fraction of the price since MG was always sold out. I knew MG was restocking their purses on July 28, 2015, so when that day arrived, I sat at my laptop at 8:00 a.m. and added the black bucket bag to my cart. The past few times MG restocked their purses, I would add the bag to my cart, then as I would click the checkout button, a window would pop up saying that this bag was sold out. Eventually I gave up.
So this time around, I decided to add the mini bucket bag to my cart and enter in my CC info simultaneously. I pressed submit knowing it would definitely be sold out. I guess I pressed it out of panic. Then as soon as I clicked the button, without even confirming with myself that I really wanted the purse, I saw the five words. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PURCHASE.
The bucket bag is extremely lightweight and feels almost like a plastic purse. The gold interior is what drew me to this purse. I've never seen anything like it. I mean, it looks like a pot of gold! I'm loving the minimalistic style.
Few tips on getting your hands on one:
1. Follow Mansur Gavriel on Instagram
2. Sign up for their newsletter on Mansurgavriel.com
3. Keep track of their release dates
4. Be ready at your computer at least 15 minutes before the release time
5. HAVE YOUR CC READY!
6. Pray that you have a lightning fast internet connection
