The 2nd day in Denver was my absolute favorite. We started off the day visiting the Red Rocks Amphitheater and ended by hiding in our hotel room from the thunderstorm.  The amphitheater was filled with super fit people running up and down the stairs with their cute dogs. I couldn't even jump up the steps in one hop. I curse my short legs. I truly hope to catch a concert there sometime in the near future.

The best part of the whole Denver trip was sitting on a pillow in front of our hotel window, and witnessing over 500 strikes of lightning in a span of 30 minutes. I had to use a Triscuit box to prop up my camera, for that perfect angle. I'm glad my camera was able to catch what I was able to see with my own two eyes.

One sad realization: I was too busy Snapchatting, Instagraming, and posing for my OOTD that I forgot to take any photos with PV. Thank you P for being my photographer!
