Got a few items from my NY trip

This Opening Ceremony shopping bag is so fresh. I may use it as a lunch bag.
 Opening Ceremony
Yes, I know we're headed into the warmer months, but I had to get this simple beanie.

T by Alexander Wang
COS
The white and black tee is from COS. Striped tee is by T by Alexander Wang.
Splurged a little on this. Can't get enough of stripes.

Birkenstock
My obsession for Birkenstocks is real. If I have it in black, I need it in white right?

Joe Fresh
Paired these crisp white birks with this shirt dress.

Goodbye Coachella. Until next year.

Coachella, you were absolutely magical. I've been to my fair share of festivals, but this one, just topped it all. My time at Coachella was filled with laughter, countless hours of dancing, and unforgettable memories. I grew to be addicted to the jubilant atmosphere and did not want the weekend to end. I reserved my best outfit for the first day, knowing I would get exhausted on the last 2 days. I enjoyed people watching and observing their edgy hair styles with their individualistic outfits. I will definitely be back next year.

Here are a few tips for festival goers:
1. Purrell will be your bestfriend! Be sure to purchase one of these travel sized bottles to clip onto your purse.
2. Sunglasses. Without these, you will go blind my friend.
3. Lightweight sweater. The weather gets pretty chilly at night. And not to mention, quite windy. I tied a small cardigan on my purse strap and it became extremely handy on the walk home.
4. CASH. There are a few festivals that conveniently have Square to accept credit cards. Unfortunately, at Coachella, all vendors only accepted cash.
5. Totem. I came with a group of over 20 folks and our group brought a inflatable dinosaur. This made it easy to locate our large group.
6. External Battery packs are a life saver. Reception is horrid in the dessert.

Kara Backpack

Sunglasses: Illesteva I Shirt: Gap I Pants: Banana Republic (Petite) I Shoes: Target I Backpack: Kara
Watch: Cartier
Photos by P.V.

I'm sure by now, you've noticed that the Illesteva sunglasses have been on repeat. Put together a very casual outfit for Valentine's  Day dinner. Amazed by the February weather which was warm enough to roam around in just a t-shirt.

This post is dedicated to this tasteful Kara Backpack. I was attracted to the pebbled leather with the gold zipper, but simply the versatility of the backpack. Kara is a New York based label that has been popping up all over my Instagram feed. I was initially drawn to the mini backpack, until I realized it would make me look like a child. The larger size will be perfect for traveling. Roomy enough to fit a light cardigan and also fit my handy camera. Loving the minimalistic style and the absolute convenience of this backpack.

In the City

Sweater: Loft I Sunglasses: Illesteva I Jeans: Topshop I Necklace: Madewell I Purse: Sophie Hulme

Traveled on Bart to the city on Saturday with my loved ones.  This day was not filled with the usual shopping. Instead, I ventured through San Francisco sharing stories about my past and pondering what other types of new foods we could discover in the future. Had the pleasure of dining at Coqueta,  located right off the pier. Coqueta offers Spanish tapas, which is perfect for me! I can never finish a full plate myself. Sharing the dishes family style enabled me to sample each exquisite dish.

It was truly a memorable day for me. Toes were a bit achy from all the walking, but I cannot be thankful enough to have these people in my life. I love you family + P.

Alum Rock

Sunglasses: Illesteva
Sweatshirt: Puma

Photos by P.V.

I miss my bun; my hair bun that is. Since I cut my hair short, I haven't been able to put my hair up into a full bun. So instead, I made a mini bun. Success! Put my hair in a mini bun while on a hike at Alum Rock and also wore my all-time favorite sunglasses from Illesteva. I'm sure you know by now that I have a fascination for tortoise ANYTHING. Tortoise glasses, tortoise sunglasses, and even tortoise phone cases.

I say this every year, but my new years resolution has always been to exercise more. I mean, I'm sure that's everyone's resolution. Do I actually go through with it? Not really. I figure I might be slightly more motivated to go outdoors, if I had cuter workout outfits. This hiking course was nowhere near strenuous. Rather, it enabled me to appreciate the clean air and also explore hidden stairways.
